Good Memories Choir
For those with early stage memory loss & their care partners
No audition. Come join us!
Good Memories is a fun, upbeat community where people with early-stage memory loss and their care partners sing together, enjoying familiar music that they love. Our professional conductors and pianists make it fun. No audition, no pressure—just a great time. Choir members include people with memory loss, their care partners, and volunteers. No musical experience or training is needed. We welcome anyone living with Alzheimer’s or another dementia who can attend the structured weekly rehearsals and, best of all, wants to make great music and new friends!
2026 Summer Rocks
A British Invasion, Redux!
It might be 2026 (not 1964 when the Beatles first came to the United States), but it might as well be, because our Summer Rocks choirs will spend summer with the Fab Four! Yes, our 2026 Summer Rocks session is ALL Beatles! Join us as we take our own musical mystery tour through seven beloved Beatles songs. You’ll take your “marching orders” from the buoyant and rousing “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” to the charming and playful tongue-in-cheek humor of “When I’m Sixty-Four.” Rehearsals won’t be a hard day’s night when the choirs come together to sing classic hits like “Help!” and “I Saw Her Standing There.” Balanced against the energetic “In My Life” is the sweetness of “All You Need Is Love.” Finally, from the “Abbey Road” album comes “Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight” — one of the only songs where all four Beatles sing together on the chorus — which you’ll love singing in unison and in voice parts with all the new friends you’ll make. Join a Sounds Good or Good Memories choir this June and discover what Summer 2026 should sound like. Summer rocks at Sounds Good Choir… So, register for a choir and come sing with us!
