Good Memories Choir
For those with early stage memory loss & their care partners
No audition. Come join us!
Good Memories is a fun, upbeat community where people with early-stage memory loss and their care partners sing together, enjoying familiar music that they love. Our professional conductors and pianists make it fun. No audition, no pressure—just a great time. Choir members include people with memory loss, their care partners, and volunteers. No musical experience or training is needed. We welcome anyone living with Alzheimer’s or another dementia who can attend the structured weekly rehearsals and, best of all, wants to make great music and new friends!
2026 Spring Session
We’re delighted to announce that we’re turning 10 this year! In honor of our 10th Anniversary, we’re kicking off the celebration by dedicating the repertoire for the 2026 Spring Session to eight of the most beloved songs our choirs have performed since we 2016.
You’ll cross musical genres, tempos and lyrical styles with this program handpicked by conductors Linda Crabtree Powell and Sounds Good Choir co-founder and artistic director, Jonathan Miller.
Join a choir this spring and you’ll have so much fun learning and rehearsing this music and then entertaining our appreciative audiences at the end of the session in our free concerts.
Registration fee:
- Spring Session: $195 (15 weeks)
- Summer Session: $125 (8 weeks)
- Fall Session: $195 (15 weeks)
Please add both people in the spaces provided on the online registration form.
Registration fee covers 2 people — care partner and person with early-stage dementia.
Also, please be aware that we require that a care partner accompany each person with memory loss to each rehearsal. Care partners are encouraged, but not obligated, to also sing with the choir. The opportunity is to spend 90 minutes each week doing something joyful together!
