Mary Lewis

A retired pediatrician, Mary’s medical career has included 30 years as owner of a multi-physician private practice, hospitalist work with the Lurie Children’s Hospital system and clinical teaching at University of Illinois Children’s Hospital. She attended Mother McAuley High School in Chicago, University of Notre Dame (as one of the first graduating classes of women) and University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago.

Mary sang in high school and college and has been a member of the Sounds Good Hinsdale choir since 2018. She has been a member of her church choir for 18 years. She has participated in more than ten medical missions to serve the children of Central and South America. She loves the personal joy that she gets from both volunteer singing and medical volunteer trips.

Mary has three children and five grandchildren and enjoys reading, travel and fitness.
