Gift Commitments
& Matching Gifts

You can contribute to Sounds Good Choir in your lifetime through an ongoing pledge. These gifts can be scheduled to be made on a monthly or annual basis and many companies match their employees’ charitable contributions. You may be able to double or even triple the value of your gift in this way.

Planned
Giving

A legacy gift made through your will or estate plan, known as a planned gift, allows you to express your love of music and help to secure Sounds Good Choir’s future while offering tax and financial advantages to you and your estate. It is a meaningful and generous way to show your appreciation and ensure that it will offer same joy and well-being to other adults in the future.

Stocks, Bonds, Mutual Funds & RMDs

Sounds Good Choir welcomes gifts of stocks, bonds or mutual funds that have been held for more than six months. Your gift of these securities ensures ongoing support today and long into the future. In addition to the philanthropic value of your gift, because we are a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, your donation of stocks or other securities is tax deductible, as allowed by law.

For more information on financial donations, please contact Executive Director Anne Schankin at aschankin@soundsgoodchoir.org, and consult with your financial advisor or tax attorney.

Thank you for your generosity!

Your gift gives older adults the opportunity to enhance their well-being with the joy of music. Because of you, nobody is ever turned away from our fee-based programs because of financial circumstances. Your financial giving supports our Good Memories Choir, where people with early-stage memory loss sing together with their care partners in a unique community of joy and support. Your donation gives hundreds of older adults access every week to state-of-the-art expertise in vocal technique, developed by professionals who specialize in the physiology of the aging voice.

You can trust us to manage your gift. Sounds Good Choir has received the Gold Seal of Transparency from Candid’s Guidestar, the information service specializing in reporting the most comprehensive data and insights about US nonprofits.

All contributions to our organization are tax-deductible to the maximum extent allowed by law. Consult with your tax advisor if you have questions.

Sounds Good Choir is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
