Volunteer Coordinator
Kim Minnaugh
Music and volunteering have been Kim’s guiding lights in an ever-changing world. From singing in church choirs to supporting hospice care, animal shelters, homeless outreach, community health initiatives, and pro-democracy efforts, she has always kept a full and meaningful schedule.
During the pandemic, she came out of retirement as a nurse to help lead one of the largest COVID-19 vaccination clinics on Chicago’s South Side. Once that clinic closed, she found herself searching for a new place to share her voice—and discovered Sounds Good Choir. She’s been singing and volunteering with them ever since.
As Sounds Good Choir’s volunteer coordinator, she’s delighted to bring together her passion for music and service, and to be part of the incredible SGC team.
