CREATING AND UPLOADING
A VIDEO FOR OUR VIRTUAL CHOIR

Since moving to online-only, we began to create “Virtual Choir Videos,” where singers record themselves and send in their recordings. Zoom Etiquette Tips

When attending a rehearsal, class, or coffee chat via Zoom, portray yourself in the best light possible by following these tips for general Zoom etiquette:

DESIGNATE YOUR SPACE

Ensure your space is quiet and clean and that it has an appropriate background.

BE THOUGHTFUL

Be on time, dress appropriately, and look directly into the camera when using video.

SET UP YOUR TECH

Check your Wi-Fi, test your video and audio, charge your battery, and get familiar with the software before entering the meeting. If you need help, contact Megan Bradley at mbradley@soundsgoodchoir.org

AVOID EMBARRASSING MOMENTS

Pay attention to your video and microphone settings to avoid awkward moments for yourself and for others. If you need to eat, get up, and/or move around, please stop your video and mute yourself until you return.
