Good Memories – Evanston

Good Memories is a fun, upbeat community for people with early-stage memory loss, their care partners, and singing volunteers. Together, they enjoy rehearsing and performing familiar music that they love.

This non-auditioned choir sings 3-part choral arrangements with piano. The 15-week session concludes with a free public performance. Every rehearsal begins with snacks and social time, which fosters close personal connections of caring and support.

Rehearsals are Thursday afternoons from 12:30 – 2:00pm at the

Evanston Public Library, in the Falcon Room (3rd floor),

1703 Orrington Ave, Evanston, 60201.

Spring 2020 rehearsals begin Thursday, February 6. The session ends with a concert on April 30th at 1:30pm in Nichols Concert Hall.

Registration ($150 per singer) includes sheet music and folder, practice CD, professional direction, snacks. Please note: Good Memories is open to all regardless of financial circumstances. Generous assistance makes it possible for everyone to participate. To learn more, please contact Sandy Siegel Miller by phone at 630-253-3392 or by e-mail at smiller@soundsgoodchoir.org.

We look forward to singing with you!
